Four Planets are visible in the evening and can be used for navigation.

1. Mars (Hoku`ula) setting in the early evening in the house of La Ho'olua (W by N) near the star Dipha.

2. Jupiter (Ka`awela) setting in the late evening in the house of La Ho'olua (W by N) near Aries (Sharatan and Hamal).

3. Right behind Jupiter (Ka`awela) is Saturn (Makulu) setting in the late evening in the house of La Ho'olua (W by N).

4. Venus (Hokuloa) rises in the early morning sky before dawn in the house of 'Aina Malanai (ESE), between the constellations of Capricorn and Sagitarrius.
