Mano / Shark
Various kinds of sharks roam the tropical and warm temperate seas:
Mano (Short-finned Mako Shark): 1000 pounds. Feeds on a wide range of sea creatures; known to attack humans.
Mano-kihikihi (Hammerhead Shark): up to 15 feet and 1000 pounds. Feeds on a wide range of sea creatures; known to attack humans.
Mano-niuhi (Great White Shark): up to 30 feet and 3,500 pounds, Feeds on a wide range of sea creatures, including other sharks, squid, turtles, mammals (seals, sea otters and lions), sea gulls, and fish of all sizes; known to attack boats and humans.
Mano-pa'ele (Tiger Shark; pictured below): 2000 pounds. Feeds on a wide range of sea creatures, including crabs, sea turtles, rays, birds, and fish of all sizes; known to attack humans.
